Steel Bridge Closes for 3 Months 6/10/2008

The upper deck will be closed (vehicles, buses, MAX) in various stages from June 10th until near the end of August. The lower deck will remain open (Amtrak trains, pedestrians, bicycles). MAX lightrail use will be interrupted during this time.

The Steel Bridge will close to MAX trains from August 2-24. MAX riders will have a choice to board shuttle buses between Rose Quarter TC/Convention Center stations and Old Town/Chinatown Station or make their own way across the river (Steel Bridge lower deck will be open to foot/bicycle traffic). Several bus lines will change their routes slightly.

See Trimet for more info.

THE ROSEMERE (Hollywood Whole Foods project) 6/3/2008

The project has changed names from the Rosemere to The Beverly. Perhaps in keeping with the "Hollywood" theme. Keep up with the project at the Gerding Edlen website.  (www.gerdingedlen.com/project.php?id=70)

WAMU has moved into its new offices in the corner of the new building. The old WAMU building has been demolished. The drive-thru is on the side next to Supercuts (NE 44th). The ATMs are now enclosed in the front part of the entrance and require bank card to gain access after hours.
