HNA BOARD MEETING MINUTES

HOLLYWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

BOARD MEETING

HOLLYWOOD SENIOR CENTER

APRIL 1, 2010

Those present: see attached sign-in sheet

1. Meeting called to order by Jo Shaefer at 7:03 pm. President Craig will be late.

2. Treasurer Bruce Richmond wrote checks as follows:

  1. Senior Center (for chairs) $100.00
  2. Jo Shaefer ( HNA Hwd.Boosters membership) $50.00
  3. Ian Timm (NET Team Hwd.Boosters membership $50.00
  4. Aaron Jones (Website fee) $100.00

3. COMMITTEE REPORTS

 

A. SUSTAINABILITY - Elizabeth reports she has been working on

trying to plan events for the Farmers’ Market combined with

promoting an urban park. There may be a charrette this fall

along with site tour for the urban park.

B. PUBLICITY - RIDE CONNECTION will do ads on our website.

Craig was given direction by Board to have 100 T-shirts made

based on design he presented. It was agreed to charge $15.

per shirt which will come in variety of sizes. Jo passed request

to Bruce from Alison at CNN to have bank statement(s) sent to

CNN and they will put copy in our neighborhood file. This is

based on a request from ONI. Bruce okayed.

C. LAND USE – Doug Hamilton reports Providence is going to

add the laboratory space to their building and provide parking

for added staff. Jo, Craig, and Doug met with Providence and

got agreement for a Good Neighbor Agreement which we will

provide. Portland Plan group is seeking input and Craig asked

Board members to attend meetings if possible.

 

4. NEW BUSINESS

a. Hollywood Boosters Partnership - Amber reports that

discussion with Booster President Greg will take place in

the fall.

b. Jo Shaefer will assist Rose City Nbrhd. Assn. on May 22

with their cleanup to get donation for NET team. Ian

handed out list of needed items for storage at the Providence

site.

5. OLD BUSINESS

a. WEB ASSISTANT – Aaron reports has not been contacted yet.

6. MOTION TO ADJOURN - Bob Ueland 2nd Ian Timm. Passed unanimously. 8:30 pm
